Boda-D is an interactive installation in a former public swimming pool. The audience is allowed to rotate the plate (which is hanging in the middle of the room) slowly and to hear the sound source moving through the space. This work is about new dimensions of sound and space. In the center of the room is a rotating wooden plate which reflects sounds of water to the walls.
Because of t he rotating plate the sound is wandering upon the walls and a natural surround-sound experience builds up. It sounds like a sound flowing through the space. The effect is created through an ultrasonic loudspeaker and reflecting material.
